Silver River in Springtime

The Silver River flows from the clear waters of Florida's Silver Springs State Park! Beneath the turquoise surface, fish, turtles and manatees swim by, while alligators bask along the shoreline, and cormorants, limpkins, little blue herons, kingfishers and other birds fly overhead. There is even a colony of wild monkeys that live in the jungle of palms, cypress and other flora along the river. It is a natural world still existent in modern times, a respite to savor on a day in May, 2024.
