My Beautiful Mama

When I was a little girl my mom went to Hawaii to meet my dad on a TDY trip from Vietnam. I missed her so much I talked my grandmother, who I was staying with, into taking me home to get something of my mama’s. I cried at night missing her but slept with this picture under my pillow. I lost her recently and I the crying continues. She was as beautiful inside as she was on the outside.
